Last Saturday, I managed to watch Despicable Me. Yeah I know that it isn't new for it was shown  last year.

I still decided to write a short review of it though I KNOW it's already late.

Well it really moved me and I just wanna share some of my thoughts about it.

I believe Despicable Me is among the best animated features of 2010. Yeah I know Toy Story 3 is great but this film definitely deserves a watch too.

But before mentioning the good sides of the movie. Here's some weak areas from my observation.

The story has some inconsistencies. Like when the kids were showed in their first sleep that they prayed first before sleeping but they were never showed praying again in the following sleep scenes.

Vector was also a techy villain so I just can't figure out how he came up with the not-so-cool octopus gun invention, (I've read though that it was done purposely to come up with a scene close to a Jules Verne's novel).

The presence of the minions was also kinda questionable for it isn't a monster or alien movie.

However, considering the fact that it is a fun-filled animated feature, all those minimal errs are kinda excusable...hehe

Now here are the strong points.

I love this film for IT IS FULL OF LOVE.

I love the characters in the movie too especially the very endearing Agnes. (She also reminds me of the lil girl from Monsters Inc.)

The movie did not fail to show the right emotions. It was very accurate and very witty.

In addition, the cinematography was nice, the sounds was just and the direction was splendid.

One of the most remarkable scenes for me was the roller coaster ride which proves that great 3D rendering was done in the film. It kinda made me feel like I was in the ride too.

I also love how the movie indirectly pointed out that we have let go of the bitterness in the past.

This movie is definitely a good reminder that no matter how bad our past is we can still live a good life if we choose to.

So as I end, I encourage everyone to watch the film if you haven't watch it yet.

Very cute, funny and loveable. 8 out of 10 for me...

Today I managed to watch Toy Story 3, yeah I know it's a bit late now for it was shown many months ago but since my office mate gave me a copy I decided to watch it.

Toy Story never failed to amaze me... I love Toy Story from the very beginning, and again Disney showcased their cleverness with their latest Toy Story offering.

Wow, I really am in awe till now and I just can't get over how splendid the movie was. The movie has a rich storyline. I love how they put depth on the story this time and tackled the issue of moving on and maturity. Like Andy, indeed we will not be forever young but our memories of our good old days are stuffs that we can forever treasure. For me, the third Story is the best and strongest among the three...

Plus Totoro was there, (too bad he didn't even talk...) it really made me happy to see Totoro in a non-Ghibli movie.

I'm really glad I did watch this awesome flick... 9 out of 10 for me... Toy Story is indeed a movie worth watching as always...

And just today, I discovered deviantart's latest promo offering... My premium subscription was about to end in the next three days and I planned not to buy subscription again till I don't have enough points to buy for at least 6 months of membership...

yay... I'm not sure if it's today or last night but I am just glad that finally my pageviews reached to 10,000... Yeah I know it's nothing compared to awesome deviants who already have hundreds of thousands or millions of views, but for me it's another milestone... Yay, I'm just so happy...

Just less than one week left for my premium membership. I enjoyed my membership though. Hopefully I'll be able to have it again. A price for the future contests that I'll be joining would be great...

Also another contest that I joined about a week ago is now concluded. Again I failed, but it's okay I'll keep on trying until I'll finally place. I won some small contests here before but of course it will be an achievement if I'm gonna place in bigger contests.

I know it's hard and  I know too that there are a lot of stuffs to consider in making entries...Too bad I'm not yet that experienced and I was lazy too to put much more details on my works thus making them so simple.... Anyway I'll keep on pressing on... I'll keep on learning and hopefully I'll be in that level too someday. Indeed, it also requires time just like reaching 10,000 page views.

As of now, I'll enjoy the season of learning... what is more important for me now is I'm guided, I'm learning and I am happy... Thanks for your visit folks... God bless us all

Okay, This may sound strange to some but I'm really happy for last night another prayer was answered by God.

A miracle just happened.

My father sent me a message and told me that He wants to attend church again... (well, as of now I'm living a hundred of kilometers away from my hometown that's why)

You may think that it is not a big deal, but it's really something for me...

As far as I can remember my father last attended the church as an active Christian is when I was 6... Now I'm 22...and For the past years I've been praying for him to get back to his Christian faith and views cos He had been too busy to a lot of things...

I can still remember my high school and college days that he even discouraged me to participate to church activities thinking that a lot of Church people are just hypocrites.

Now I'm just really happy for he again recognized that he needs God in his life... God is really amazing and He can indeed break even the hardest hearts...

To my non-Christian friends or to random visitors, I know that some of you might find this journal Cheesy or even Irrelevant, I do understand that NOT EVERYONE here believes in God, I respect ur views...

Please don't get me wrong for I'M NOT trying to insist my views as a Christian to you...

I just wanna express myself through this journal. I am just really happy for everything that is happening in my life right now and I just can't help myself not to write about it... yay, I'm just so happy...

It has more than two months now since I was able to have a premium membership here on DA.

Well, it's really fun to be a premium member and to have all those privileges an ordinary DA member couldn't have.

But since I had been busy with my side jobs by the past weeks I wasn't able to visit DA and enjoy my premium privileges that often.

So now before my subscription ends I decided post another journal with a new journal skin...

Yeah those are cute Totoros with me watching the sun as it rises...

I just find the idea cute and relaxing so I decided to do it....

Haisstt... Time is really passing so fast... And years from now I'll be a daddy...haha
